When you think of a police dog you might think of a German Shepard or a Belgian Malinois, but have you ever heard of a Corgi as a cop? Well, now there is a corgi cop and his name is Fu Zai.
He was originally recruited as a sniffer dog for the Weifang police. Most people doubted him because he was small and different from the rest of the police dogs. His owner didn’t doubt him, and actually thought it would be a good idea because his short legs would help him inspect small spaces that other dogs aren’t able to.
He excelled at his work with detecting bombs and other illegal items, which helped ensure the safety of the people. Now so many people have taken an interest in his work. He has over 400,000 followers. People have even seen him nap and steal a sausage while on patrol. Fu Zai really beat the odds and is a very famous Corgi Cop.
